I had been over weight my entire life. In 2010 I got pregnant and that just exacerbated my weight problems because I didn’t eat well while I was pregnant. Once I had my beautiful son I was determined to get fit! My husband joined the Army and shipped off to BCT/AIT in April of 2011. I took that time to being getting healthy, I began doing Zumba at home almost every day! I also walked our neighborhood several times a week. November of 2011 was a hard time for our family as we packed up and moved halfway across the country, from Georgia to Texas. Once in Texas I began using the Couch25k program. Since finishing it I have ran in 15 5ks, a 10k and a 10 miler! I am in training for my first half marathon on November 17th, 2013! I have aspirations to run a full in 2014 πŸ˜‰ I have come so far in my life and improved, not only my health, but the health of my family as well.
